📖 Verse Of The Day

— Matthew 6:14

Surgery Recovery Starts Before Surgery
Many patients prepare extensively for the procedure itself — but recovery preparation often gets overlooked.
Healing increases demand for nutrients involved in tissue repair, immune support, collagen production, and recovery. HealFast was designed specifically to support the body before and after surgery with physician-formulated nutritional support created for the recovery process.
Instead of scrambling afterward, many patients now prepare for recovery before surgery even happens.
Because supporting recovery starts long before the procedure is over.

🧠 Devotional
There’s a quote by Corrie ten Boom that goes like this:
“Forgiveness is an act of the will, and the will can function regardless of the temperature of the heart.”
So what does this mean:
“Forgiveness is an act of the will” means forgiveness is something you choose. It is not just something you feel. You may not wake up one day suddenly feeling ready to forgive. Sometimes you have to decide, “I am not going to keep holding this over them,” even while it still hurts.
“The will can function” means you still have the ability to make that choice. Even when your emotions are all over the place, you can still choose what direction you are going to move in.
“Regardless of the temperature of the heart” means your heart does not have to feel warm, peaceful, or healed yet. It might still feel angry, hurt, or confused.
But forgiveness can start before your feelings catch up.
And the Bible reinforces this idea over and over.
Jesus doesn’t say forgive when you feel like it. He says:
“If you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.” — Matthew 6:14
That’s a command. It shows forgiveness is a decision you make, not something you wait to feel.
Then He goes even further:
“Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, ‘Lord, how many times shall I forgive… Up to seven times?’ Jesus answered, ‘I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.’” — Matthew 18:21–22
Obviously, He’s not giving a literal number. It’s a hyperbole. He’s saying forgiveness isn’t about keeping count, it’s about choosing it again and again.
And the clearest example is when Jesus is on the cross:
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” — Luke 23:34
There’s no way that felt easy. There’s no way that moment felt good. But He chose forgiveness anyway.
So the Bible backs up this quote completely.
So the point is this: forgiveness doesn’t start when your heart feels better, it starts when you decide to let go, and your heart follows after.
