📖 Verse Of The Day

— Luke 12:7

Yeah. That Arnold Schwarzenegger.

So do Codie Sanchez, Scott Galloway, Colin & Samir, Shaan Puri, and Jay Shetty. And none of them are doing it for fun. They're doing it because a list you own compounds in ways that social media never will.

🧠 Devotional

Did you know God knows the exact number of hairs on your head?

In Matthew 10:30 (NIV), it says:
“And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”

And in Luke 12:7 (NIV), it says:
“Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.”

And it doesn’t just stop there.

He knows the number of the stars.

In Psalms 147:4 (NIV), it says:
“He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.”

He knows things that can’t even be counted, like grains of sand.

In Psalms 139:17–18 (NIV), it says:
“Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand…”

He even knows every day of your life before it happens.

In Psalms 139:16 (NIV), it says:
“All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

And it gets even more personal.

In Psalms 139:1–2 (NIV), it says:
“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise…”

And in Psalms 139:4 (NIV), it says:
“Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.”

What this means is this. God doesn’t just know everything about everything, He knows everything about you.

He knows what feels impossible to count, what’s too big like the stars, and what’s too small like the hairs on your head, and He still knows you personally.

The same God who knows the number of the stars also knows the number of hairs on your head.

And the point Jesus makes is simple. Right after saying this, He says, “Don’t be afraid.”

Because if God knows everything about everything, and still knows everything about you, then you’re not overlooked, and you don’t have to be afraid.

So the point of today’s newsletter is this: God doesn’t just know everything about everything, He knows everything about you.
